Job Description

Make a positive impact in the lives of students as an Occupational Therapist supporting elementary, middle, and high school populations on a contract basis. This role offers the chance to collaborate with educators and families to help students build essential skills for academic and social success.

Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist license required
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students from elementary through high school
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for supporting childrens educational needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy interventions to students across various age groups, focusing on skill development for learning and participation
  • Assess students needs and create individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to develop strategies for classroom success
  • Document progress and communicate results to families, school staff, and other professionals as appropriate
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
  • Educate staff and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and adaptive techniques
