Job Description

An opportunity exists for an experienced professional to support an elementary school in Saint Paul, MN, during a maternity leave. This part-time position involves working directly with students three days a week, focusing on enhancing their educational and developmental outcomes through tailored therapeutic practices.

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students, assessing their needs and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
  • Implement therapeutic activities aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with district policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapy License.
  • Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
