Location: Riverside, CA
Positions Available: 3 Full-Time Occupational Therapists

  • 2 Full School Year (FSY) positions
  • 1 Full-Time Maternity Leave Coverage (anticipated August start through March end)

We are seeking dedicated, independent, and experienced Occupational Therapists for exciting school-based opportunities in Riverside, CA. These positions support K-12 students, ages 3-22, with a wide range of disabilities from mild to severe. Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations and services for students ages 3-22 in accordance with IEP goals and California educational guidelines.
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments, including:
    • BOT-3 (Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency)
    • Peabody Developmental Motor Scales
  • Analyze evaluation data and effectively communicate findings to parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Address parent concerns and utilize assessment results to support service recommendations and educational planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote student participation and academic success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Independently manage scheduling and travel between assigned school sites based on district needs.

Required:

  • Active California Occupational Therapist License
  • Previous California school-based experience
  • Experience administering and interpreting BOT-3 and Peabody assessments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited district support
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to develop and manage an independent schedule across assigned locations

Preferred:

  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills
  • Experience serving students with multiple disabilities
  • Experience with itinerant school-based service delivery models
