School-Based Occupational Therapist

Reno, Nevada | Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year

We are seeking two licensed Occupational Therapists to provide school-based services for K-12 students in the Reno, Nevada area during the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who is passionate about helping students develop the skills needed for academic success, independence, and participation in the educational environment.

Position Details

• Position: Occupational Therapist
• Location: Reno, NV
• School Year: August 10, 2026 June 4, 2027
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Openings: 2
• Campus Assignment: 3-4 schools
• Student Population: Kindergarten through 12th Grade

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to K-12 students.
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
• Support student development in fine motor, sensory, functional, and school participation skills.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada Occupational Therapist License required.
• Previous school-based, pediatric, or educational therapy experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload that includes therapy services, evaluations, and assessments.

• Fingerprinting

• District-required onboarding and compliance documentation
