Job Description

Seeking an experienced specialist to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting located in Providence, RI. This full-time contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives during the upcoming school year from August 27, 2025, through June 16, 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Rhode Island Occupational Therapist License (RI OT)
  • Prior experience with Medicaid billing on vendor platforms
  • Strong background in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend IEP meetings
  • Complete progress reporting and documentation as required
  • Manage Medicaid billing through designated platforms for direct services
