Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience supporting students in Pre-K, early childhood, elementary (K-5), middle school (6-8), and high school (9-12) settings
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative approach with staff and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and progress monitoring in educational environments
- Adaptability and creativity when addressing the unique needs of a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs across multiple grade levels
- Perform assessments to identify student strengths and challenges, and participate in developing IEPs
- Work closely with teachers, other school professionals, and families to provide integrated support and promote student success
- Implement both group and individualized interventions to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities
- Maintain accurate records, monitor student progress, and communicate results with educational teams
