Exciting opportunities are available for two dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) to provide in-person services within a dynamic educational environment. These contract positions span the full school year, beginning August 10 and concluding May 28, 2027. Based primarily in the Oroville region with possible travel to nearby areas, youll play a key role supporting students development and participation in school activities.
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about serving diverse student populations and comfortable working across multiple school sites. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between locations, making this a great fit for those looking to broaden their experience in different educational settings.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, with knowledge of best practices in pediatric OT
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple school environments
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites as needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create customized intervention plans for students.
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to help students achieve educational goals.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success.
- Maintain up-to-date records, progress notes, and required documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on students OT needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere in every school setting you serve.
