Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing occupational therapy services to students in a supportive school setting just outside picturesque Parachute, CO. This part-time contract role is perfect for an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about helping young learners achieve their fullest potential. Work alongside dedicated educators to deliver essential therapy services while maintaining a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week throughout the academic year, from August 17, 2026, through June 3, 2027.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license and CDE credential required
  • Prior experience in school-based OT highly preferred
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and documenting progress
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized intervention plans targeting student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service staff to support a holistic approach
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt interventions to diverse needs, helping students succeed in school routines and activities
