Job Description

A specialized opportunity is available for Occupational Therapists skilled in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based OT services. This contract position supports elementary students from kindergarten through 6th grade across two locations, requiring itinerant services with paid travel time between schools. The role spans the upcoming 20252026 school year, delivering comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to each child's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for K-6 students
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support student progress
  • Manage documentation in compliance with school district standards and state regulations
  • Travel between assigned school sites, with travel time compensated

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapist License required
  • Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably within school settings
  • Knowledge of home health, teletherapy, and healthcare OT practices advantageous
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage an itinerant caseload

Location: Position based in Palmdale, CA, with assignments in nearby Santa Clarita.
