Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in school-based therapy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of K-12 education systems and regulations
• Flexibility to adapt to different school environments and needs

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Implement therapeutic interventions to support students motor, sensory, and self-care skills
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to promote students overall well-being
• Monitor and document students progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student needs and outcomes
• Maintain organized records and compliance with state and school district regulations
• Provide training and resources to staff and families regarding therapeutic practices
