Job Description

An opportunity is available to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Oakland, CA. This contract position is designed to cover a leave of absence, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives from September 8, 2025, until April 3, 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, tailored to their individual needs.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, developing appropriate treatment plans to facilitate development.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance students' overall well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Implement therapeutic activities that promote physical, sensory, and cognitive skills.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy license.
  • Previous experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, or school settings is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
