Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certified by the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a K-12 educational setting in Novato, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work throughout the school year (NSY) supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech and language disorders in students spanning K-12.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in both individual and group settings.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with educational standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated support services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC credential.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents across K-12 grade levels preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology practices applicable in educational settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to diverse student needs.
  • Availability to commit to the full school year contract term.
