Providing in-person occupational therapy services for K-12 students, this full-time contract opportunity based in Newberg, OR, offers a dynamic role within a school setting. Onsite presence is mandatory to support students directly, ensuring hands-on developmental and therapeutic interventions. The contract begins with the new school year and extends through June 4, 2027. Four positions are available, each handling a full caseload focused on school-based occupational therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in summer programs, including Summer School and Jumpstart Kindergarten in July, if interested.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Special Education certification or occupational therapy license valid in Oregon.
- Proven experience working with school-age children in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, families, and school personnel.
