You'll work closely with dedicated school teams, using your expertise to assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans for students with varying needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with teachers, administrators, and families
- Organized and adaptable, comfortable managing a dynamic caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students needs using assessments and standardized tools
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans to address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff on IEP teams to ensure goals are met
- Provide direct and consultative OT services in classroom, small group, and individual settings
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state standards
- Empower students with strategies and adaptations for academic and personal success
