Job Description
Providing specialized support to children with developmental challenges requires skilled and compassionate occupational therapy. This contract opportunity seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver direct therapy and evaluations in a pediatric outpatient clinic focused on children ages 3 and older diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special needs.
Location:
- Warrenville, Illinois, serving the pediatric outpatient community
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for pediatric clients
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to individual treatment plans
- Manage and maintain a caseload of children with developmental and special needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support therapy goals
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with clinic standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience working in pediatric outpatient settings preferred
- Knowledge of developmental disorders including ASD and related conditions
- Ability to perform thorough assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with families and care teams
- Comfortable with caseload management and independent decision-making
Job Details:
- Part-time position, 2025 hours per week
- Contract duration: 1 year
