Job Description

A full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Muskegon, MI. This contract role is designed to cover a leave of absence, providing essential support to students and staff in an on-site capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to K-12 students' developmental and therapeutic needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Support a positive learning environment through therapeutic activities and guidance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license is required
  • Preference given to candidates with prior experience in school-based occupational therapy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
