Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a dynamic California educational setting. This full-time position covers 37.5 hours per week and spans the academic year, beginning August 2026 and concluding June 2027. Multiple school sites will be assigned, offering variety and the chance to work with diverse student populations.
As a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist, your expertise will help empower students to excel in their educational and personal development. This role requires strong teamwork and adaptability as you collaborate closely with educators, families, and staff.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and active CCA OT License (required)
- Experience providing OT services in a school-based environment is highly valued
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in evaluations, developing individualized plans, and tracking student progress
- Passion for supporting children and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students strengths and areas of need
- Develop and implement personalized occupational therapy plans supporting IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students in classroom and small group settings
- Collaborate with educators to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
- Maintain thorough records and communicate progress with staff and families
- Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions
