Required background and experience:
- Valid Wisconsin Occupational Therapy License (DSPS required)
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience in school settings, healthcare, and/or home health strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of the needs of K-12 learners and ability to adapt interventions accordingly
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, families, and fellow clinicians
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and best practices in pediatric OT
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, student-centered occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through high school
- Evaluate students to identify strengths, challenges, and areas of needed support
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines and home environments
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Consult with multidisciplinary teams to advance holistic student development
