Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist in a K-12 school setting located in Mattoon, IL. This position spans the 2025-2026 school year and involves working closely with students across two school campuses, addressing the diverse needs of approximately 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-8 students
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to provide therapy in an itinerant role

Location:
Mattoon, IL, serving schools in the Charleston, Paris, or Chrisman areas

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs based on student assessments
  • Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapeutic goals into the classroom
  • Maintain documentation of student progress and IEP compliance
  • Participate in team meetings and provide consultation as needed
  • Offer direct and indirect services as outlined in IEPs
