Job Description

This contract opportunity allows you to work closely with students from elementary through high school, supporting their ability to participate fully in academic and social activities.

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio occupational therapist license required
• School-based OT experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and parents
• Ability to adapt strategies for students across grades and abilities
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and educational best practices

Responsibilities:

• Assess students needs and develop individualized intervention plans to address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Collaborate with special education teams to integrate OT goals into students individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students from elementary through high school
• Maintain clear documentation of progress, assessments, and district-required reports
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations for classroom adaptations, assistive technology, and modifications to foster student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
