An immediate opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to serve a vibrant K-8 school community in Marrero, LA. This full-time, contract position runs through May 16, 2025, providing comprehensive therapy services to students in PreK through 8th grade. The role involves managing a high caseload of students with diverse needs in an onsite school setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions aligned with students educational goals.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective support strategies.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy plans accordingly.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic care.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for the state.
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably with PreK-8 student populations.
• Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining quality care.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with educational environments and related regulations.
