Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Illinois
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and independently
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services tailored to students needs
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions, updating documentation regularly
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with staff and families
- Support teachers with strategies and accommodations within the classroom
- Foster an inclusive, engaging environment that encourages student success
