A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available in San Gabriel, CA, serving several school sites in the area, including Roosevelt (therapy only), Wilson PK, Coolidge PK-5, Gabrielino, and McKinley. This contract position runs in two segments: April through June and August through November. The role requires approximately 35 hours per week, typically from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing both direct and indirect OT services for a caseload of about 55 students with varied disabilities. This role demands strong organizational skills and a dedication to supporting students developmental needs within the school setting.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid California OT License
- Experience with school-based OT services, including evaluations, IEPs, and therapy delivery
- Ability to manage a full caseload with diverse student needs
- Knowledge of pediatric disabilities and best practices in school therapy services
- Preference for candidates who can provide on-site services
Work locations are within the San Gabriel area, including Rosemead, Monterey Park, and Temple City, CA.
