Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Prior experience working in a school or educational setting
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy strategies for children and adolescents
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
• Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Passionate about fostering an inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop targeted intervention plans
• Provide direct therapeutic services to students individually and in groups
• Maintain detailed, timely documentation and progress reports
• Support the development and implementation of IEP goals in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students growth and functional independence
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing collaboration with school personnel
• Adapt interventions and equipment to promote access and participation in the classroom
