This position supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting, fostering their development and helping them reach functional independence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Participate in team meetings and contribute professional expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with all state and local regulations and policies related to school-based therapy services

Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist License required
• Experience working within school environments preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage caseload effectively and maintain accurate records

Location and Schedule:

• Located in La Mesa, CA (part of the greater San Diego area)
• Full-time contract position with 37.5 hours per week
• Work schedule consists of 5 days per week, aligned with the school calendar
