Providing occupational therapy services in a K-12 school setting, this position supports a diverse caseload of approximately 15 students with varying disabilities including intellectual disabilities, ADHD, TBI, Autism (including nonverbal students using AAC devices), and vision/hearing impairments. The role emphasizes a therapeutic play approach to intervention but is open to other methods. Flexible scheduling allows for 12 hours per week onsite in Kansas City, MO, during the 2025-2026 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions tailored to students' specific needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Adapt therapy techniques to engage students effectively and promote functional independence

Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri OT License required
• Experience working with school-age children and a range of disabilities preferred
• Ability to implement therapeutic play methods strongly desired
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate student needs within a 12-hour weekly commitment
