Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure in Illinois
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of educational evaluations, IEP development, and implementation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions that support students academic and functional performance
• Evaluate students needs, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with school requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure students needs are addressed and to provide consultation as needed
• Contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
• Assist in adapting classroom tasks and environments to facilitate student participation
• Maintain regular, open communication with staff and parents regarding student goals and outcomes
