This onsite contract opportunity allows you to expand your expertise while supporting young learners in both resource and self-contained classrooms throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Proficient in delivering services to elementary-age students, including resource and self-contained programs
• Excellent communication and adaptability working with a variety of staff, students, and families
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and float between locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students according to IEP goals and district guidelines
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to ensure effective therapy implementation
• Offer consultation, training, and support for staff working with students who require OT services
• Adhere to professional standards and maintain timely records
