Job Description

A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed to support an early childhood school near Bristol, IL, with an elementary caseload. This contract position runs for the academic school year (NSY) and offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities for elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress reports
  • Provide teletherapy services as needed, ensuring effective remote intervention and student engagement
  • Utilize knowledge of healthcare and school-based OT practices to tailor interventions to meet student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and school district standards

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based and healthcare settings
  • Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery and virtual collaboration tools
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with early childhood and elementary educational development
  • Ability to manage a full-time elementary caseload and coordinate services in a school environment
