Job Description
Support elementary students as a licensed Occupational Therapist in a contract role for the current school year. This opportunity involves working 32.5 hours per week, five days a week, providing essential therapy services to young learners in an elementary school setting.
Key Qualifications and Credentials:
- Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- New Jersey Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in school environments preferred
Location: Position is based in Jersey City, NJ, serving elementary students across the area.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the developmental needs of elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
- Provide consultation and training to school personnel regarding student accommodations and adaptations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies
