Job Description

This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized occupational therapy services across diverse settings, including home health, healthcare facilities, and school environments. You will be working within a middle school setting in Irvine, CA, on a contract basis to support a leave of absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to middle school students needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide therapeutic services within the home health setting, healthcare facilities, and the school environment as required.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with regulatory and school policies.
  • Adapt therapeutic techniques to accommodate varying abilities and environments to maximize student engagement and success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license and relevant certifications.
  • Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly with middle school-aged children.
  • Proven ability providing OT services in home health, healthcare, and school settings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with documentation standards and compliance related to educational and healthcare settings.

Location: Irvine, California (Middle School setting)
