We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Florida City, Florida. Position Overview
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will provide individualized evaluations and treatment services for children ages 218 years with developmental, sensory, motor, and functional challenges. Most patients present with mild to moderate needs, allowing therapists to focus on meaningful progress and quality patient care.
Patient Population
Children ages 218 years with diagnoses including:
- Developmental delays
- Academic developmental delays
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Fine motor delays
- Sensory processing challenges
- Visual-motor deficits
- Self-care skill deficits
Most children are high-functioning and there are no medically fragile cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy focused on:
- Fine motor development
- Sensory integration
- Visual-motor skills
- Self-care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- School readiness and functional participation
- Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Bring creativity and enthusiasm to treatment sessions and contribute therapy resources and ideas.
Therapy Schedule & Documentation
Our clinic is structured to support both therapists and patients.
- One child seen per hour.
- Typical session format:
- 52 minutes of direct therapy
- 8 minutes for transitions and documentation
- Progress notes are completed during sessions.
- Minimal administrative burden.
- Clear and organized Plan of Care goals for easy data collection and progress tracking.
- Dedicated 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Qualifications Required
- Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) license.

- Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills.
