Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
• Background in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT practice (K-12 preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students across grade levels, focusing on promoting independence and participation in academic activities
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to assess student needs and set measurable goals
• Maintain accurate records, update progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
• Create and implement strategies to develop students fine motor, self-care, and sensory integration skills
• Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications
