Job Description
Make a real impact supporting students across multiple school sites as a contract Occupational Therapist. This school-based position covers Kershaw Elementary, North Elementary, Andrew Jackson Middle, and High School, offering a rewarding opportunity to work with diverse student populations in both Lancaster and Kershaw areas. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and support staff to enhance student learning, independence, and participation through skilled occupational therapy services.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license in South Carolina
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice
- Commitment to onsite-only serviceremote work is not available for this role
- Strong communication, time-management, and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop goals and strategies
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the IEP process
- Support the integration of therapy strategies into daily school activities
- Travel between multiple designated campuses as part of the regular work week
