Job Description

Join a dynamic K-12 educational setting as an Occupational Therapist serving students in Hayward, CA for the 2025-2026 school year. This onsite contract position offers a full-time schedule of 35-40 hours per week, providing comprehensive occupational therapy services across a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support students functional skills, sensory processing, fine motor development, and participation in the school environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and clinical consultations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapist license and credentials.
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet varied student needs in a school setting.
