A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support a K-12 school in Clovis, NM. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, five days per week, during the school year. The position focuses on delivering therapeutic services to students across a variety of grade levels, enhancing their functional abilities and supporting educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of all therapy sessions and communications.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions to support student success.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico Occupational Therapy Certification.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 age groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
