Job Description
An onsite Occupational Therapist position is available to support students in a K-12 school setting. This full-time contract role offers a dynamic caseload and the opportunity to provide essential therapeutic services to enhance student learning and development throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy assessments and interventions to K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings to support multidisciplinary approaches to student success
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Professional experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment
