Job Description

This opportunity is for a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings, serving K-12 students. The role involves providing therapeutic support to students to enhance their functional abilities and support their educational success. This is a full-time, contract position for the current school year, located in Glendale, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
  • Implement therapy interventions to improve students motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Provide consultative support within the educational environment to foster accessibility and inclusion

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy License
  • Proven experience working in K-12 school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus

Work Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
  • Located in Glendale, California
  • Contract duration: current school year
