Step into an impactful role supporting K-8 students through occupational therapy within a vibrant school environment. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference across two school sites, working closely with a caseload of over 38 students, plus additional consults as needed.
You'll be welcomed into a supportive and collaborative setting. The director is currently out until mid-July, so interviews will be scheduled upon their return, providing plenty of time to prepare and learn more about the district's approach to student-centered care.
Key Requirements:
- Active Occupational Therapy state license required
- Prior experience working as an OT in a school setting, particularly with K-8 students, is preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Flexibility to serve multiple sites and adapt to a varied caseload
- Commitment to maintaining accurate and timely documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to K-8 students in two onsite locations
- Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate OT strategies within the educational environment
- Conduct consultations and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain compliance with all relevant state and district policies
This position offers a rewarding contract from August 5, 2026, through June 2, 2027, providing immersive experience within a dedicated school community.
