Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school setting located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is on-site and offers a contract position for the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to effective student intervention strategies.
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs within the school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida Occupational Therapist license is required.
  • Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to interface effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to manage flexible caseload and documentation responsibilities.

Work Details:

  • Onsite position requiring 1 hour per week of service.
  • Caseload assignments to be determined based on student needs.
  • Contract term aligned with the current school year schedule.
