Qualifications & Experience
- Hold an active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Prior experience as a school-based OT is strongly preferred
- Skilled in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing direct therapy for students
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment
- Capable of collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to students according to IEP goals
- Assess students needs and strengths through standardized and informal measures
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adapting strategies as required
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support educational planning
- Provide consultation and training for teachers and family members to promote student success in daily activities
