Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This role runs from early August through mid-October, with orientation sessions scheduled before the official start to ensure a smooth transition. You'll focus on providing OT services within a single elementary school building, working closely with both resource and self-contained classrooms.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (IDFPR required)
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric OT setting
• Strong understanding of the unique needs of elementary-aged students
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions to help students access their education
• Develop and implement IEP and 504 plan goals tailored to each childs needs
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the school building
• Maintain accurate student records and reports in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in team meetings, staffings, and contribute insights to support student achievement

This contract offers consistency, with 37.5 hours per week all in one location, allowing you to build strong relationships and see the direct impact of your work.
