This contract position spans the full school year, allowing for the provision of essential therapeutic services to students across various grade levels.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapy License
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Experience with diverse populations and varying disabilities
• Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively

Location:

• El Cajon, CA, with assignments throughout Southern San Diego

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students ranging from preschool to 12th grade
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and other specialists
• Assess student needs and create tailored therapeutic activities to support motor function delays
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student needs and progress
