A School Occupational Therapist is needed for the remainder of the current school year to support elementary students in the Edison, NJ area. This contract position offers a 32.5-hour workweek over 5 days, providing comprehensive therapy services within an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students educational goals
- Collaborate with educators and families to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and school regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Valid New Jersey Occupational Therapist license
- DOE certification specific to school-based occupational therapy
- Experience working with elementary school students is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
