Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Wisconsin Occupational Therapist License (DSPS required)
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience in school-based, home health, or general healthcare OT environments preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process, therapeutic interventions, and adaptive equipment
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Commitment to professional ethics and equity in student care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K12 students, promoting independence and participation in academic settings
  • Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Serve as an active member of IEP teams, contributing to assessments and documentation of student progress
  • Administer evaluations, create measurable goals, and adjust therapy strategies based on individual needs
  • Provide training and support to school staff on strategies and accommodations for students
  • Maintain thorough and organized documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
