This contract role is part-time, with a consistent schedule of two days per week, spanning the entire school year.

In this position, youll help young learners develop necessary skills for success in their academic environment. Collaborate with educators and families to craft individualized plans and deliver high-quality services tailored to each students needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Minnesota
• Previous experience working with school-aged populations, especially K-8
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapeutic interventions within a school setting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify students needs in fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the team
• Communicate effectively with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
• Offer guidance on adaptive equipment or modifications as needed
