Desired Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico (required)
• Previous school-based OT experience is strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with diverse age groups from elementary through high school
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and track progress
• Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students needs and create personalized therapy goals to support their educational and functional development
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in both individual and group settings
• Document services, progress, and outcomes according to school district protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement and well-being
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert input on accommodations and modifications for student success
• Mentor and guide school staff on best practices for supporting students sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skills
