An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services, supporting K-12 students in Chicago, IL. This onsite contract position is designed for the current school year, offering a dynamic environment within a K-12 educational setting.
Responsibilities include evaluating, developing, and implementing occupational therapy programs to assist students in achieving their educational goals. The role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum.
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and adapt therapy strategies to student needs
