Now Hiring! Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a supportive school district near Chesapeake, Virginia to hire a full-time, onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 20262027 school year.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, onsite position

• 20262027 school year

• K-12 student population

• 3540 hours per week

• August 2026 start

• School-year contract

• Collaborative Special Education and related services team

• Supportive district and welcoming school environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation

• Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, visual motor integration, self-care, and classroom participation skills

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Virginia Occupational Therapy License (or ability to obtain)

• Virginia Department of Education license or eligibility preferred

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
