Job Description

This part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position supports K12 students in a school-based setting in Sanders, AZ. The role offers the opportunity to provide specialized therapy services focused on enhancing students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, adaptive functioning, and participation in daily school activities. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through May 22, 2026, with a schedule of 12 hours per week over two days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs
  • Provide targeted therapy sessions tailored to individual goals
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress
  • Manage travel time within the allotted weekly hours if applicable
  • Work with a caseload of approximately 810 students across grades K12

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy License
  • Current and valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Strong understanding of pediatric therapy techniques, including fine motor development and sensory integration
  • Ability to work effectively in a school environment and collaborate with educators and families
  • Flexibility to provide services potentially through hybrid delivery depending on confirmation

  • Part-time commitment: 12 hours per week, two days at 6 hours each
